Inspiring Young Women to Become the Mathematical Leaders of Tomorrow

Welcome to the Math Prize for Girls

The Advantage Testing Foundation sponsors an annual math competition for high-school girls, the largest monetary math prize for girls in the world. Our goal is to encourage young women with exceptional potential to become the mathematical and scientific leaders of tomorrow.

Our next contest will be held in September 2015 (date to be announced) at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Applications will be available by March 15, 2015. Applicants must have taken the AMC 10 or AMC 12 exam in February 2015.

Our 6th annual contest took place on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at MIT. 271 girls from across the US and Canada competed for $49,000 in cash prizes. Celine Liang, an 11th grader from California, won first prize. View our list of winners.

We at the Math Prize for Girls have a blog and a Facebook page.
