Inspiring Young Women to Become the Mathematical Leaders of Tomorrow

Welcome to the Math Prize for Girls

The Advantage Testing Foundation sponsors an annual math competition for high-school girls, the largest monetary math prize for girls in the world. Our goal is to encourage young women with exceptional potential to become the mathematical and scientific leaders of tomorrow.

Our 8th annual contest took place on Sunday, September 10, 2016 at MIT. 274 girls from across the US and Canada competed for $55,000 in cash prizes. Qi Qi (a 12th grader from Canada) and Catherine (Katie) Wu (a 10th grader from California) shared first prize. View our list of winners.

Our next contest will be held in September 2017 (exact date to be announced) at MIT in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Applicants must take the AMC 10 or AMC 12 exam in February 2017. Our application process will begin around March 15, 2017 and will continue through June 30, 2017.
